Moving on isn’t always easy, but you can always prioritize your well-being, Just like cleaning your room, here’s how you can reclaim the spark of your life.
We all know cleanliness is next to godliness, but for me cleanliness is godliness. We have come across various blogs, reels, and shorts on how to maintain a clean room, clean home and clean body, but do we really know why we need to clean kinds of stuff?
Oh c’mon, keeping clean is a must, at least for people around us. Keeping anything clean is more of a personal thing than an external representation. We always feel happy and relaxed when our room is clean. An eternal part of our existence relies on cleaning. We are so busy in pleasing the external world that we have forgotten the mindful practice of cleaning. Even a deep cleaning session of your room can be a meditation of hours. We must learn to love the process of cleaning.
If we are grim during the cleaning session, after-results won’t affect us much. Whereas you are enjoying the process of cleaning, it will definitely boost your mood to the peak, in turn, you are more enthusiastic than before and also motivated to clean other spaces of your life. This phrase of cleaning your room can also connote with cleaning your life.
Do I have to throw things out of my life? No, not necessarily. You need not forget and move on easily from life and its not that easy too. Moving on may sound practical and appealing but its not so practical. Any bitter incident that has happened to us, has the potential to spoil peace and the spark of living. Once the spark of living is missed from our system, what’s the point of living.
Isn’t it the world want us to do, “just move on”? World may want us to move on and again repeatedly saying its not easy. Still one can prioritize stuffs happening in life
Imagine you had the worst break up and you are going through the phase, moving on from that is a long long process, and by that time you will lose so much of the positive vibes around you. So what can you do?
Day one after break up, agreed you are not in the mood to show your face to anyone, whether you want to get out of your bed fine agreed, but day 2 should not be the same. There should be some incremental development in your lifestyle, at least get up from that damn bed of yours, not able to face any person outside, fine at least see yourself in the mirror, at least you need to live for that person. You need to maintain that spark of your life to that person.
The next day, show up to your parents, and talk to them, they don’t deserve a chance to have a break up from their only source of joy even for some days.
This is how you move on. Not all of a sudden, but slowly taking baby steps.
Here you are prioritizing yourself over others. This is the cleansing of life. This is reclaiming that spark of life.
There is also a certain spiritual aspects in cleaning. Cleaning not always but suggests decluttering. Decluttering is elimination of clutter. Clutter is simply defined as mess. This could be a messy room or messy mind. Both are equally dangerous for the productivity of the person. Messy mind can lead to mood disturbances. Mood disturbances are considered very normal in these days but tragedy is that it is not normal. We have opted an abnormal living habit considering it as normal.
Mood disturbance probably leads to outlash of emotions followed by a trigger. So basically it is a response to a situation. We must be “responsible” for the situations we face. Hence, as everyone says respond not react. There is a huge difference between responding to a question and reacting to a question. We all have experienced that. So as per me, cleaning anything around you and everything within you to experience life in its raw form. Life is beautiful, it is offense to make it cluttered. If not now, then when?
